COLDRICE SAYS:
On one of our exchange trips to Brazil we discovered many great things, Caipirinhas, parties that never end and a ColdRice twin earth called Mamma Vendetta. With an identical ethos, a recording studio that doubles as a speakeasy and a bunch of great bands, we thought we were back at home. One of those bands really got in our groove and wouldn’t get out, so we’ve decided to give them a permanent holiday home with us here. Human Trash! Dirty, primitive 3 piece rock n’ roll, simplified in just the way we like it.

All the way from Sao Paulo, Sister Mayra Trash on low guitar and vocals, Sister Mari Trash on hi-guitar and vocal and Brother LT on trash drum kit and vocals, Brazil’s finest Trash rock trio HUMAN TRASH sit somewhere between garage and no-wave… dig a mix of Neubauten, The Contortions, Pussy Galore, B52’s and The Cramps!
With their first album, “It’s not Human, It’s Human Trash” (produced by Rob K and Marco Butcher) these kids brings guts. That attitude that seems to have been forgotten by most of today’s bands, that attitude that frightens the parents and drives the neighbours crazy, no velvety or tame tones, Human Trash sounds like a baseball bat visiting a room full of fine china!
50s music, blues, punk music, it’s all there, the two guitars scream while Brother LT lays down his primitive beats on a drumkit made from (what else) trash cans. Like an actual musical junkyard, this is how they show their art to the world.
